This LakeAir LAFC HEPA Air Cleaner provides a single HEPA filter with a built-in carbon after filter for quick and easy filter changes. The two centrifugal blowers allow two distinct cleaning speeds and give the LAFC HEPA Air Cleaner high CFM capacity for quiet and efficient operation making it ideal for hospital applications, bingo halls, and restaurants. The hinged intake panel allows for easy access to the internal components for HEPA filter replacement. Louvered intake panels and louvered clean air delivery panels allow for variable yet smooth air flow. Top mounting installation system provides easy drop-in placement into a 1- 2x4 or 2- 2x2 suspended ceiling construction. A removable galvanized hood is less than 12 inches in depth making this unit low profile. The ceiling mounted air cleaners use hospital grade high efficiency filters which remove 99.97% of all particulates down to 0.3 microns in size. As dirty air is brought to this LAFC HEPA Air Cleaner by the dual-squirrel cage blowers, the larger particles are trapped by a prefilter screen. The smaller particles are trapped in the High Efficiency Particulate Arrestor (HEPA filter). The carbon after filter eliminates odors that may have been trapped in the filter and circulates fresh air back into the area. Please note that the filter should be changed when it becomes noticeably dirty, approximately every 6-9 months depending on the pollutants in the air as it will damage the motor if it is not changed frequently enough. It is available in white and black colors. Choose from 120 volts or 230 volts.
